SCHOLARSHIP

• Orchestra Program: Up to 10% of Original Program Fee
Special talents with well-rounded CV and active in opera scenes, and successful audition, will gain up to 55% scholarships

• Singers applying for Vocal Programs shall submit one Aria in German & one Aria in Italian Language.
• Instrumentalists applying for the orchestra program shall record and submit 2-3 pieces that best represents their ability as a performer.

JURY OF THE AUDITION
Paul M Baker is a well-known and highly respected figure within the Malaysian music, theatre, musical theatre and music education sector as a conductor, composer, performer, actor, stand-up comedian, raconteur and educator. In Malaysia he has performed with the National Symphony Orchestra and the Selangor Symphony Orchestra among others. Paul is currently the CEO and Principal of The British Academy of Performing Arts which opened in April 2017 in Kota Damansara, Malaysia’s only integrated performing arts academy.
Jin Hin Yap, Doctor of Musical Arts graduated from Louisiana State University and a protégé of the noted American tenor, Robert Grayson. He has appeared in leading roles with a number of opera companies in the United States. Yap an active performer in Malaysia and Singapore, is currently a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts of the Sultan Idris Education University.
Ahmad Munir Mahzair is violin lecturer and Director of Instrumental
Studies at the UiTM Faculty of Music. He holds Diploma in Music and
Bachelor in Music Performance from Universiti Teknologi MARA. He
also holds Master degree of Music Performance from USA under
several renowned violin Professors such as Stephen Miahky, Solomiya
Ivakhiv and Dawn Wohn. He also has actively performed both locally
and internationally under various renowned conductors.

Opera Institute program fee Includes housing (private room and bath with shared kitchen), private lessons, coaching, facilities, faculty, masterclasses, visiting guests and cultural excursions.
Artist Ignite program fee includes housing (private room and bath with shared kitchen), private lessons, coaching, agent auditions, professional video, concert performances and studio hires.
Orchestra Program fee includes four private lessons, masterclass participation, housing (private room and bath with shared kitchen) and performance with Opera Orchestra.
